I’m a British Artist working in the South West of England. I create prints and paintings that instil a sense of calm, space, and quiet inner strength. My prints are all monotypes - these are unique one-off creations that can never be repeated exactly. These are the beginnings of a body of work that can lead to larger works using paint.
The works I create may be inspired by external landscapes; these include my emotional reactions to my environment, the fragility of existence and the resilience discovered through adversity. Through the process of abstraction, shapes emerge that could be a weathered stone, an ovum, or simply a bubble of air surfacing through water.
